RAW Quick Hits! - 6/25/18; Ziggler vs. Rollins Rematch

The show kicks off with GM Kurt Angle and Constable Baron Corbin. Angle was about to make an announcement regarding Extreme Rules and Brock Lesnar when he is interrupted by Roman Reigns then soon after Bobby Lashley. Reigns and Lashley get into a back and forth over each other's careers up till now when Angle informs both men there won't be any multi-man match at Extreme Rules because of a "contractual snag" in the contract of Brock Lesnar. Roman and Bobby figured since there's no match at Extreme Rules, why not just take on one another? Before they could come to blows they are interrupted by The Revival who want one more shot at Lashley and Reigns. Constable Corbin jumps the chain of command and makes the match before Angle can.

The Revival def. Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley

This match was an exact carbon copy of last week except with a really cool finish to advance the Lashley/Reigns conflict. Lashley had the match won when Roman tags himself in and hits a Superman Punch. Dawson comes running in but Roman ducks and sends him into the corner accidentally striking Lashley. Bobby goes crashing to the floor when suddenly Roman gets rolled up by Wilder who is, in fact, the legal man. The Revival gets the 1 2 3 and a huge upset. This was a really creative finish and I'm glad we get to see more of The Revival.

Why did Titus Worldwide come out and ruin all the fun?

Natalya makes the Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss tap out to the Sharpshooter.

After their loss to the Riott Squad, something inside Bayley must have snapped because she lost it.

Braun Strowman and Kevin Owens def. Finn Balor and Baron Corbin

Corbin and Balor couldn't put aside their differences and began brawling midway during the match. Owens and Braun win via count out. An overenthusiastic wanted to shake the hand of his partner but Braun had this look like he wanted to eat Kevin Owens who bails from the ring and sprints up the ramp.

Seth Rollins def. Dolph Ziggler via DQ

What a fantastic main event, probably the best Raw match of 2018. Dolph and Seth went back and forth for a good 35 minutes putting together a match that was like something out of New Japan. Each man threw his best shots but each only involved in a two count. Ziggler had the referee distracted and Drew McIntyre took the opportunity to get a cheap shot in on Seth. The referee spotted it and removed Drew from ringside. Both men battled leading to Seth hitting Dolph with his superplex/Falcon Arrow combination. 1...2..the referee gets dragged out by a returning McIntyre! Drew gets in the ring and starts pounding on Dolph. The referee has no choice but to call for the bell ending this one via disqualification. Ziggler and McIntyre continue their beat down on Rollins when Roman Reigns comes down to make the save. He destroys Dolph on the outside with a Spear before disposing of Drew with a Superman Punch.

Raw ends with Dolph and Drew celebrating on the top of the stage. Although Dolph loss the match the title cannot change hands via disqualification.

I thought this was a decent Raw. The matches were solid, topped by an unbelievable main event. Bayley completely snapping on Sasha was interesting as well. What did you think of the show? Comment below or reach out to us via Social Media:
