Wrestling Classics #1: Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk for the ROH World Championship

Hello all, I hope you enjoy the first installment of Wrestling Classics. Every Saturday a video will be uploaded featuring a match either from past WWE shows or from the independent circuit of pro wrestling. The purpose is to give appreciation to all the independent organizations around the world, wrestlers who put their bodies on the line to perfect their craft, and most of all to educate maybe even one person on some wrestling they may have never seen.

If you have a suggestion for a Wrestling Classic feel free to email me, Facebook, or tweet/DM me on Twitter.

This week's Wrestling Classic is the over an hour battle Samoa Joe and CM Punk had on October 16, 2004. Samoa Joe goes on to TNA as many of you know once he spent time with ROH and there really isn't a need to tell you what happened with CM Punk. This match is incredible from start to finish with both men laying it all on the line till the very end. Just the intensity from Punk's hometown crowd of Chicago to the expert analysis most wrestling fans feel is absent in today's top wrestling organization.

The audio from this video goes out of sync with the audio about 20-30 minutes in but this match is so good it really doesn't even matter. I do not own the rights to this video, this is just for sharing and discussion purposes. Enjoy.

COMMENT BELOW and let everyone know what you thought of this week's Wrestling Classic!
